Investigators

The investigators assist the Assistant District Attorneys with all their cases,
and provide essential assistance as well to the Victim-Witness office.
Jerrod Wall, Chief Investigator:
Jerrod Wall graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. After interning with the GBI and graduation, he worked for the East Central Georgia Drug Task Force. In 2005, Wall moved to Paulding County and he began working for the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. While at the Sheriff’s Office, he worked on patrol, the DUI and H.E.A.T. Unit and was a member of the S.W.A.T. Team. In his last 5 years with the Sheriff’s Office he was a patrol supervisor and gained the rank of Corporal. Investigator Wall is a certified firearms and speed detection device instructor. He loves teaching locally, at the regional police academy and at the state training center in Forsyth. He is a Senior Instructor and currently working on his Master Instructor Certification. Investigator Wall lives in Dallas Georgia with his two boys, Maddox and Mason.
John D. Bearden, Investigator:
John was born and reared in Atlanta and attended Atlanta city schools, graduatingfrom Brown High. After a stint in the U. S. Air Force and a position with the FAA, John was employed by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, and spent a majority of his time there as an investigator in white-collar crimes, after attending specialized training and instruction in that area. Retiring from Cobb County after nearly 25 years, John joined the Paulding Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s office as an Investigator in August, 2011. He lives in Cobb County with his wife Linda.
Terrie Bryant, Investigator:
Terrie Bryant began her career in law enforcement with the Marietta, Georgia Police Department as a dispatcher, and moved then to the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice as an Investigator. She joined the Cobb County Sheriff's Office in 1981 and served as a deputy sheriff there until 1985 when she was became a security officer at Lockheed-Martin in Marietta. In 1988 District Attorney Tom Charron hired Terrie as an Investigator in the Cobb Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s office, where she served until 2010. As are all Investigators in the Paulding Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s office, she is P.O.S.T. Certified.
John Grubbs, Investigator:
John has been a lifelong resident of Cobb County, with the exception of college at Mercer University in Macon, where he majored in Political Science and History . He has served the community for over 34 years, first with the Cobb Sheriff’s Office, retiring from Cobb as a Major in Detention with almost 31 years of service. His duties while at Cobb included Field Operations, CID/Fugitive, Court Security, and Detention. He then served in Kennesaw for 3 ½ years as a Lieutenant and then Captain in Support Services. He lives in West Cobb with his wife Kathy.

Charlie Pritchard, Investigator:
Charlie Pritchard was born and raised in Atlanta. He started his law enforcement career with MARTA Police Department where he worked for 3 years. He was then hired by the East Point Police Department in 1990. He just recently retired after 27 years of service as Captain in Uniform Division as a shift commander. During his career he was also assigned to the Traffic Enforcement Unit, the Cobra Team, and the Internal Affairs Unit as the Commander. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Blue Knights GA VII Law Enforcement Motorcycle club, serves on the Board of the Georgia Internal Affairs Investigators Association. He is a member of RBI-LEEDA, and Cobb County FOP. Hobbies include golf, skeet shooting, and motorcycle riding. Charlie and his wife Kim reside in Cobb County and have a 17 year old son.
